A couple of years ago we had a major yard sale. I wanted to advertise “credit
cards accepted” so I got the PayPal gizmo to slide into my phone’s audio-out
socket. So I can swipe someone’s card and go on from there just like a normal
retailer. In the case of poor connectivity, I can enter the buyer’s CC number
manually and synch the charge to their bank later. It all works.

I would be surprised if Doug hasn’t gone this route as well. In which case he
can “run” your credit card and go on from there. Or I could do it for you and
transfer the $ from my account to his.

But sending a check probably makes the most sense.

Oh, another thought. If you want to “send money” within PayPal, do you even
need an account? Can’t you go through a Guest login and purchase like with most
storefronts?
