Not exactly earth-shattering, but fun and pleasing. Given the ease of manual focus with the K-1 (thanks mainly to the focus-assist blinky, my eyes ain’t what they used to be), I wanted to try the 150-450 with the old A2X-S converter. The first pic is cropped to about 60% of frame, the second to about 40%. Both are ISO 3200, f11, 1/400th off the tripod of course. F11 is wide open with this rig, given the loss of stops with the converter. The camera reports it as 5.6, not recognizing the converter, but the exposure is accurate. I find the booked pleasing and don’t see any fringing. Will continue to play with this.
