Totally agree with John about need of context.
It scares me is how people are willing to ignore the context given by the photographer, and replace it with one that resides in their warped minds.

I think it is a good photo. I like the way it conveys the child's exhaustion, and the way it conveys the father's support. Literally by just leaning to the wall in a strenuous posture, which probably is for the benefit of the photographer, but still.

Don't know if personal appeal is the right word, but the shot makes me feel sorry for both child and father.
