Oh Paul, thanks for the lovely cardinal photos. My wife goes nuts over
cardinals. She would not give me back my Ipad until she had poured over
half of your portfolio looking for more. I admit they were nice though.

This guy was yelling at me from high up in an oak tree. K-1, 150-450, A2XS
converter, 900mm, f11, 1/2000th. ISO 3200. Pushed 1.5 and 1 stops in post,
respectively. So we're looking at ISO 9600 and 6400, respectively. The K-1
makes a lot of things possible, that were once impossible, at least for me. I
could have gone to a slower shutter speed of course, but I didn?t have time to
fiddle, and the sky background changed the exposure radically.
