I seem to have a couple of items on backorder at Adorama. Their website said they had a few in stock, but it turns out, that was in stock, but not shipped. The salesman did, however, say I'd be third on the waiting list and they expect to have them by next week. Now that I have my new machine sorted out, it's time to offload the old one.

I'm asking $2,000 for the mini. I also have the 1TB fusion drive that came with it, that I can throw in, or if someone asks, I can sell seperately.
Mac mini (Late 2012)
2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
S/N D2HL7001F9W2

It has two internal drives, a 2TB SSD and a 2TB spinny.

I had to do a bit of creative work to fit both drives in, the 2TB SSD is a bit thicker than most SSDs.

The blackmagic speed test on the drives shows the SSD at about 480MB/s write and 500 read and the spinny at about 92 write and 100 read.

This is the quad core mini, the following version they dropped it down to dual core (WTF Apple?):
Model Name: Mac mini
  Model Identifier: Macmini6,2
  Processor Name: Intel Core i7
  Processor Speed: 2.3 GHz
  Number of Processors: 1
  Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
  L3 Cache: 6 MB
  Memory: 16 GB
  Boot ROM Version: MM61.0106.B0A
  SMC Version (system): 2.8f1
  Serial Number (system): D2HL7001F9W2
  Hardware UUID: 61CAA285-EB34-5629-85D5-A7B5251B9CD7

It is a very nice machine for normal to moderate photo processing. It has two downsides: 1) you can only drive one high resolution (2560x1440) monitor with it, but with thunderbolt and HDMI it will handle a 2560 and a 1920 monitor just fine.

2) All of the extra storage is through 4 USB 3 and one Thunderbolt 800. If you have lots of storage for raw files and backups, and you don't have a good NAS, then things can get a bit messy on your desktop.

When I bought it, I got a 27" Thunderbolt monitor to go with it, but that won't work with my new machine. It has a chip in the glass next to the camera and the insulation on the thunderbolt cable is cracking. I'm pretty sure I have the original box for the monitor up in my attic, and may even have the box for the mini.

Buyer pays shipping.
