Mid Ohio is one of the best road courses in this part of the country. I
wrenched many times on cars on this track over the years - 1969-72 Trans Am
Mustang & IMSA sedan Pinto and in the late 80's & early 90's on a GT4
Corolla that eventually won the national championship there - great
times/phenomenal memories.

I photographed race groups that ran at times that didn’t conflict with my
schedule, so it’s kind of random. At Seattle, that ended up being group
1, which was E, F, and H Production, GTLite, STL, and Touring 3, and Group
2, which was various formula style cars. At Mid-Ohio, I photographed
group 7 (which I had friends running in) which was all the GT classes,
American Sedan, and Touring 1.

did manage to snap a few pictures. Unfortunately with my race schedule,
I only had a couple opportunities to photograph other races, but I enjoy
taking pictures of people around the paddock just as much. In fact, I
