William, I have the Pentax sheet that explains the "theory" behind 
the design.  And it works.  It can "push" out of the field a 
reflection of a bright light.  A friend of mine used to have it with 
him all the time (for kithchen photos) and at times he would be the 
only one who could do a nice photo without any bulb reflection. 
Nikon guys could not believe it and would find one to fit with a 
step-down ring.  Pentax made a UV and a Skylight ghostless.  Only 
49mm.  I don't think they made SMC ones.

I could scan the sheet and send a jpeg to those interested 
(off-list).  They are not very common but do appear on eBay once in a 
while.
