For the lenses I have stored away and rarely use (mainly older K mount &
m42) I have them in storage boxes with a large quantity of silica gel. 
I probably don't regenerate it often enough, though.

I don't take any particular precautions with lenses I use regularly. 
It's just a bit inconvenient to do so. Touch wood, I haven't observed
any fungus problems with them.
