Larry - just curious… I haven’t been following closely so pardon my ignorance. But in the Milky Way shot through-the-trees you link below, the trees look strange. Snow covered? An artifact of the long exposure? Was it breezy/windy? Were you light painting? The stars look good but I wonder about the foreground.
