Thanks Jack. I did one with and one without pixel shift. The difference wasn't earth shattering, but the pixel shift was definitely better.

This is a 35 exposure pixel shifted focus stack.
Technical: K1, DFA 100mm macro, f/5.6, exposures at 1/6 second, ISO 100.
My stack wasn't quite deep enough, there is a slight blurriness in the center 
of the image.
So it goes.

This image is tagged Adobe RGB, as regular RGB put the flower out of gamut and 
killed a lot of the tonal range. Make sure your browser is aware.
