Hello Bob, I saw the lot of photos you attached and the particular 1:1 crop. The photos are simply wonderful, well composed and the colors pop out. But this guy looks like a Lobster just "cooked" - a deep RED.
There is a tool in LR, Develop Module - HSL - for all the three, Hue/Saturation/Luminance. You click on the little faint Circle on the top LHS in the module. Then move your mouse to the point on the photo you wish to correct the Color or Skin Tone. I clicked on the guys NOSE first with Hue. Left click & hold while you move the mouse Up or Down. You will see the color(s) changing. Do this with the other two till you get a good Skin Tone. Save your work. Here is the sample.
