I read that in the NYT this morning good article. I was delighted to
see it was written by David Brooks. Until I realized it was the
conservative political writer rather than our Dave Brooks. :-)

Useless factoid: One of my racing buddies who was on my 24-hour
endurance team years ago bears such a striking resemblance to
Frederick Douglass I sometimes still do double-takes when I see
certain photos of Frederick Douglass.
