Unfortunate for both the hippos and the driver! I once ran into a herd of Brahman cattle at night on a longish trip north: car was a wreck, but the one I hit four-square got up and walked away! Thanks to my then brother-in-law, who towed me 200k to my destination, I was able to buy a replacement car (temporary() while the wreck was repaired.
