I think Gonz's suggestion was closer in appearance ... but mine _is_ in
a floor container... just not so blue... white tinged with lavander
Using your info (I never saw that googling) I think I'll call them and
or send them that with my photo -
thanks much, John!

I searched the Brooklyn Botanic Garden database for "Water Lily". There
are several listed for the aquatic house, but most are listed as
"Shallow pool in the aquatic house".
One, a "nymphaea x daubenyana" is listed as being in the aquatic house
in a floor container.
Scientific Name: Nymphaea x daubenyana
Common Name: "Daubeny's Water-Lily"
Family: Nymphaeaceae
Accession: 880390 -A
Location: GHAQCO (Plants in the aquatic house in the floor containers)
G - from a cultivated plant not of known wild origin
A Google Image Search returns results for "Daubeny's Water-Lily", but
wants to call it a "Dauben Water-Lily)
Here's a Tiny URL of the Google Image Search results:

conservatory at the garden today was not around..
It's in water in a large pot. Couldn't find it googling - similar, but
no match.
