What I wish is that I could just buy the rubber part. The thing is held
together with JIS cross type screws, and the ripped rubber should be
easily replaceable.
Actually I really wish would be that Pentax use rubber not made from
from finest mouse hair.

rubber material of the eyepiece is if any thing even cheaper than the normal
eyepiece. Both of the ones I've had ripped and dammit I'd pay for
replacement parts, but they're just not offered. It pisses me off that some
Pentax produces are built to last the ages and others are designed to fall
apart in in seemingly minutes...
