I tested them and couldn't really determine any difference. But the Schneider 100 is slightly wider, so it allows me to make slightly bigger prints. Big is beautiful :-) However I do have to admit that the Nikkor is as much nicer looking piece of equipment. Chrome plated metal and quite attractive. I won't mind keeping it. Paul
