Hello Dan, in Europe especially Eastern Europe many religious works of art depict both God & Evil Satan side by side.
You will find the statues of grotesque creatures peeping out from roof tops of public buildings, churches and burial places. Evil spirits, ghosts, werewolfs, dracula form much of the history of Europe & its story tales. The +ve & the -ve forces. Of course I cannot relate to these Hungarian statues as I have not seen them in much of my travels in Europe. I have lived in Europe for some time on company work and have travelled all over the fascinating Eastern part. Regards.
