A bit, early in the morning. The muni doesn't pay much attention to our parks any more, esp. now all the grass has died. A veritable thicket of young gardenias has now sprung up around the parent trees. Hope they don't cut them off.

I never realised that gardenias grew so large.  The commonly grown one
here (Gardenia augusta) is usually a small shrub.

Interesting seed pods on the Transvaal gardenia.  Is it perfumed?
