Actually, I don't think it is.

Looking at the location on Google Maps, you view seems to be more
northerly and wouldn't take in the spot where 'The Tree' is located -
it's quite close to US64.

My notes tell me that my view point in this shot is from the
bridge... "9/19/85  Rio Grande Gorge from bridge. f4, 50mm, no filter.
7:40 am... this was one of three shots. the next shot after that was my
photos of two dogs having a mock battle in the picnic area...
