Yeah, that's a lot more like what I had in mind.

Rather than just applying premade filters, it might also be possible to either tweak the curves of the individual channels, or use the luminance sliders for the specific colors in lightroom.

In any case, it's a nice image with a lot of potential. I think that the darker sky adds a lot of drama to the photo.
