There is a Los Alamos Historical Museum, plus the Bradbury Science Museum, and a couple of interesting video presentations. Lee and I rarely pass up a science museum of any sort. Mostly, however, we wanted just to be there, even though the locals apparently avoid the place because of reports of lingering radiation in the area. Loretto was interesting, but worth only 15 minutes at best. We had more fun walking around the area, looking into the shops and galleries, and enjoying espresso and gelato under a large tree outside a small local cafe.
