It was all about recording the detail. Tonight I tried to shot an aesthetically pleasing shot. I know I’m much more a technician than an artist, but that serves e well in the commercial world. In any case, it’s all a lot of fun. Shot this one with the K-1 and the D FA 150-450 with no converters. Had to do a lot of manipulation to get the exposure of the sky, trees and moon where I wanted them. But I think it worked. Exposure was f8, 1/60th at ISO 400. But I pushed the exposure more than two stops and yanked back the highlights a bunch, then boosted the shadows as well. Some dodging and burning too. http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=18310539&size=lg Paul -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
