Parchment Paper is quite useful for many purposes. I use it quite often.

Interesting, I've used wax paper, had never run across parchment paper before

Due to my current limited kitchen facilities I'm eating a lot of
pre-prepared microwavable foods. One of those is a breakfast sandwich
similar to McDonald's Egg McMuffin.

The instructions tell you to wrap the sandwich in a paper towel while
microwaving. I've run into a problem of the paper towel sticking to the
food& leaving little bits of towel that can't be easily scraped off.

This morning, I substituted Parchment Paper for the paper towel. Worked
great. Nothing stuck to the sandwich and it looks like I can reuse the
parchment paper several times* before I'll finally have to discard it.

*The box of sandwiches from the grocery store has 4 units. I hope to be
able to use the piece of parchment paper 4 times. After using it, just
tuck it into the box with the remaining sandwiches so it will be handy
the next time I want to nuke one of the sandwiches.
