I expect most people these days are getting bed liners. Trucks are also one of those weird markets that has multi-generational brand loyalty. "my grandpappy drove a Ford, my daddy drove a Ford, I drive a Ford and by gumm, my son and grandson drive them too" isn't all that uncommon.
The same happens with GM trucks.

Ford and GM could make their trucks out of backed cow turds and people would still say they were the best things on the road. It's why the Tundra and Titan rate behind GM, even though they are a much better truck. It's a tough market, and they are relative newcomers in it.


Can't wait till GM starts selling aluminum trucks - they're working on
them now.

It might help with their rust out problems, though I bet GM will find a way to make aluminum corrode. They seem really good at screwing things up and not much else.
