That's a weird one. Looks like a cross between a Polypore, or bracket fungus
(which grows on trees) and a chantarelle, which doesn't. Maybe one of the
Pleurotus species, commonly known as Oyster mushrooms?
Other possibilities:
Honey Mushroom Armillaria solidipes
Sulfur Shelf Laetiporus sulphureus
Northern Tooth Climacodon septentrionalis
Location and habitat (what tree is that?) woud help narrow it down.
