There is (or used to be, I did not check as of lately) this fellow on PentaxForums that if you send him your lenses, he'd take them apart, re-plate them and CLA them. I once inquired about the A 50/1.2 I wanted mine to look like that silver special edition, to match my silver FA 77/1.8. He gave a very reasonable quote and if I were living in US of A or Can of Ada, I'd be giving it a try.
The only thing he can't do, is to replace the black focus ring. This is some kind of plastic/resin/whatever non-metal material and so it has to stay.
