I don't know what it says about me, but I recognise a few of those! The Dove (Hammersmith) was my favourite drinking spot if I was in that part of London. A nice pint (or two) on the riverside terrace was a great way to spend a warm summer evening. I also know "The Prospect of Whitby" and "The Grapes" (both in Wapping), and "The Lamb and Flag" in Covent Garden. For serious beer afficionados I'd include "The Anglesea Arms" (in South Kensington) for the best pint of draught Old Peculier I've had anywhere south of Thirsk, and "The Hole in the Wall" right by Waterloo station. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
