Dear PDMLers,

The year is (still) young, so, Happy New Year!
(And it is rather late for "Happy Hanukkah!", and "Merry Christmas!", but better later than never.)

Best wishes to all y'all and y'all's y'all! ;-)

The year end was very busy for me, so, I was reading PDML only briefly, on the run, without much time to respond. Hey, that spared the list from my sarcastic comments. I enjoyed the photos posted to the list. (Rick, - I particularly enjoyed the series from San Diego, - the city that I miss.)

The school break ends today; many pokemon have been caught and some have been trained, and Pikachu has already lost his (her? its?) red holiday hat. (Those who are "in the know" will get the reference.)

I will spare the list from many other details, like that my car repair will hopefully be completed tomorrow, after two months of hardball negotiations with the insurance company and then the actual repair. (I was lucky to avoid any injuries (for all participants) in the accident, but the car suffered. Let me just say that car drivers in a college town in the metropolitan center of rural TX do stupid things on the road.)

Larry, - I share your sentiment about the collective wisdom of PDML, and the general kind atmosphere despite all the differences and individual pecularities. Cheers to that!

Igor
