Oh my do be careful. We had snow here on Friday morning and was lucky
that I could leave work early. I slipped and sled a few times and well
was a nervous wreck when I did make it home. I don't do driving in snow
nor ice very well and appears this Spring or Summer will be getting some
new tires.

Just saw news that the storm that hit NC Friday & Saturday is on the way
to Boston.
The weather service was predicting 1" - 3" of snow here in Raleigh. I
don't know about the rest of the city, but what I got here was freezing
rain followed by two inches of sleet & a dusting of snow on top of that.
High temperature for today is supposed to be 26 deg F. If it melts any,
it's just going to get worse. It's supposed to get up to 29 deg F
tomorrow; Tuesday is forecast to be in the low 40s.
The street out in front of my house is a mess. Looks like there's been
some traffic, just enough to pound the sleet down into a solid layer of
ice about an inch thick. It ain't gonna' melt soon, and the City doesn't
do snow/ice removal on residential streets.
This could be a minor problem. I need to get to the building supply
store tomorrow & buy more drywall, except I don't think our street will
be passable even by Tuesday.
Y'all be sure to keep warm.
