Went to IKEA via the dedicated water taxi from Pier 11 at Wall street to
Red Hook BRooklyn. I thought I'd like to have some Swedish Meatballs -
big mistake, they were simply awful.. and I really don'tcare much for
IKEA as a store , either... not my thing, Home Depot more fun for me...
or any salvation army or Goodwill store.
But the water taxi ride was terrific... on the trip out, it was cozy and
comfy inside.. I didn't know there was a deck above.. until I was
waiting for the taxi on the way back from Brooklyn... A man I met and
Chatted with while waiting told me one could go topside.. and one of the
young men who worked on the taxi seeing my camera said he'd take me up
there - they are supposed to have staff on top.. especially when the
water isn't glass calm.. It was such fun! more photos in the 2017
