Thanks, Chris. From the UK, it's a worthwhile trip: the abbey, the Gulbenkian Museum, Alfama, the Barrio Alto, and Sintra are well worth visiting. The rest of the city is McEurope, and the food... well, let's just say that the Spanish culinary revolution of the last decade hasn't gotten there yet.
