has happened that will change my opinion here. No, this would accept Pentax 
AF bodies on the back and Nikon MF/AF lenses in the front. Given that there 
are squillions of Nikon long lenses floating around, especially the 
Arsat/Yashma 300mm f2.8.
 Incidentally, a punter at the show was asking about the unmodified AF1.7x - 
does it work, he sez. Why certainly, Sir, it focusses at the speed of light 
and from close-focus to infinity and back. No it doesn't , he sez. I am 
afraid that this one _does_ , Sir. Oh no it doesn't, sez he...............are 
we looking for the 5 minute argument, or the full half hour? Strides off 
purposefully, apoplectic.
