I'd say you sunk that shot. I don't generally lean on my sensor quite that hard. What shutter speed were you at? I'm a little surprised you didn't use faster primes instead, unless you prefer the challenge.

The 24-70 is on my wish list, even the 28-105 seems sharper than my 28-75, although I never really noticed it being soft before I got the other lens.

I notice that your definition of uneven is varying between good and very good.



I don’t edit these down much because my friends like to see themselves play 
pool shark. :-)

I run into that posting dance photos on facebook. People have cropped out of focus images of them in the background of someone else dancing to use as their profile picture. People are more interested in photos of themselves having fun than the dignity of the photographer who took the picture.
