It could be because they're making slow progress repairing the damage to
the spillways & another storm is in the forecast. They're not expecting
enough rain that it will force the lake level back up to where it will
overflow the emergency spillway, but it won't hurt to keep everyone on
their toes for the time being.

We're actually holidaying in Wanaka for a race that's on tomorrow so we've had
