Maybe it would be easier to just run them through the free DNG converter from Adobe so they will open directly in lightroom?

Some kind of reddish finch at our bird feeder (I'm not a bird expert). Playing around with the K-1 and A* 300 with the 1.4x rear converter. Forgot to change the setting on the RAW type so it saved them in PEF format. Tried to bring them into silky pix, and man that software seems really hard to use. Just figuring out how to get the "browser" to work, there is no dialog that I can find. You basically have to know what exact directory you want to look at and type that into the location window (which starts out at the silky pix install point). Saved the file as TIFF and loaded it into Lightroom for playing around. The camera is really nice, though a bit heavy compared to the old APS-C cameras. I couldn't find a way to selectively import images with silky pix, it seems to be basically all or nothing. I'm used to the Lightroom interface, so this seems very foreign to me. https://www.flickr.com/photos/66982297@N02/32932864076/in/dateposted-public/
