Hi Paul, Good questions, welcome to the list! Someone else will know the answer to your queries, but FYI the AF280T has a reduced power setting in 'MS-L' . We worked it once and I've forgotten the amount of reduction in flash power but I think it was 1/16th... The reaosn I was interested was because I wanted to use a 280T on top of my LX as daylight fill-in flash, which I managed to do.
