I have to say that I definitely like your numbers 6 and 7 every bit as
much as what I initially suggested to you... they bring definition to
the platform on the left and the gradually diminishing and scattered for
of the skiers is a nice pattern.. and it brings in the main mountain
into more promenance as well...
Happy you are enjoying the exercise...
I'm still strongly in the camp of getting rid of Darth Vader on ther
right hand side ;-)

I can clearly see the merits of this crop: it draws more
attention to the skiers. It is a good photo, but it's a different one.

My initial intent, however, is to present the mountains where
skiers are just one of the "features", not the dominating one. And

what I wanted to achieve.

My personal preference at this point is as follows:
For the "full panorama" intent -1 or -2. (Sometimes I think -3
works too.)
For the "skiing mountain" intent, I prefer -7.
I would be curious to hear what PDMLers think about these different
versions.
