Hi!
I just shot an SMC Pentax-F Zoom 70-210 mm from ebay. I was surprised and glad
that it arrived yesterday. Just in time for Whitsuntide - time to try it out.
But the disappointment followed when I unwrapped it: it had fine hairs of
fungus on an inner lens, wonderful enlarged by the front lens. Don't know how
to open such a zoom. The lens was described on ebay as to be optically and
mechanically very good. So I mailed to the seller and he will take it back.
Have to wait for the next one ... (sigh)

Question: Would there have been a real chance to clean the fungus out or is it
possible that he leaves traces on the lens surface? And what's about losing
the adjustment in such an intervention?

Best regards
Bernd
