I just made a slew of prints on the metallic paper. Turns out, the R2880 isn’t
listed as compatible with metallic paper, but I went ahead and gave it a try
using the premium glossy profile, and I’m a little surprised this profile
worked as well as it did. I think it’s best to print high key renderings on
the metallic. I thought it just ok for low key renderings. I haven’t done
glossy prints for several years. I kind of like the results with the metallic,
though my preference is for textured matte paper by far.

I can tell my 2880 is getting rough. I’d like to get another year, so keep
your fingers crossed!

Cheers, Christine
