The network connection to my mail server did.
A couple years back I moved my email server to a friend's house for a
variety of infrastructure reasons. He was also hosting a box for another
friend who works at a local ISP, got.net.
About two weeks ago, about midnight Friday night/Saturday morning the
network connection at his house went away. Got.net doesn't even answer
their phones except during business hours. Meanwhile got.net and sonic,
who they get their static IP service from have been pointing fingers
back and forth blaming everything on each other, and doing nothing
productive.
Since a resolution in the near future is looking less likely, I've just
subscribed via my alternate account at gmail, I hope that red4est is
back online soon.
