I have been asked to try and find these answers. I have a ticket in with Blurb but have not heard back in several days so i thought id just toss them out and see if anyone can offer guidance.
Dave please look into these items 2. Find out if the Blurb logo with phrase as seen on other Blurb photo book (Otter Lake), which says “The Blurb-provided designs and graphic elements are copyright Blurb Inc., 2009,” and they added, “This book was created using the blurb creative publishing service. The book author retains sole copyright to his or her contributions to this book.” Is this the only alternative wording? Dave’s photo books donn’t have this phrase, and perhaps when you change up Blurb templates, it’s not applicable? 3. Check to see if there are discount codes in Blurb that apply equally to hard and soft cover in one order. 4. Indicate how Blurb handles colour correction, if available. Dave’s photo book image requirements were: max size 2000 x 3000, with no sharpening. 5. Check Blurb’s cost of print proof. How will that affect us? Concerns that proof for colour calibration on selected Blurb paper may alter the bulk order’s quality control.
