Thanks, Ann. For some reason, the colors on this image were much stronger than on other images taken at the beach about the same time. I think it may have been the angle of the sun, and that fact that I really zoomed in to try to make the horses visible. Believe it or not, I actually desaturated the yellow quite a bit on this image. It was too harsh even for my gaudy taste. <G>
As for the Santa Fe Image in the PDML annual, the beige buildings set against the bluest skies possible really charmed me in Santa Fe. As a result, I took several images trying to capture that special feeling, but when I saw the geometry on that building, I immediately thought it could be something special. It was still a pretty ordinary shot, however, until a friend insisted I clone out the little spring of vegetation growing out of the peak of the roof. That is when it became more than ordinary. <G> It look and blue image will also be in the PDML calendar. May 2018, I believe. I hope I am still around to turn that page!
