I have planted many daffodils in our yard, with at least a dozen varieties. I deliberately planted some that are early bloomers and some that bloom late in the season. The last to bloom is the small, delicate poet's narcissus, that appears just as the mid season blooms are disappearing. Because of this, and its attractive color scheme, it is one of my favorites.
