Igor, the last time I gave out CDs (it were actually DVDs) was
gazillion years ago. It wasn't even the 6th grade of my older
daughter, while she's finishing 10th grade now.

I have started with DropBox account where I would put 20x30 cm
printables and share the link to the folder of each event via e-mail.

The problem with DropBox was that it had too small a size, so I went
down the Google route. Nowadays, I'm uploading 20x30 cm printables to
Google Drive (15 GB free out of the box, so to say, no pun here) and
sharing the links from my cell phone to the WhatsApp group. This is
for my younger daughter who's now finishing 3rd grade in school. This
really works like a charm.

I remember having most annoying problem with the DVDs/CDs - each
parent wants specific sub-set of photos, where their own kid shows.
So, I've spent lots of time doing all kinds of stuff. Say, there were
few parents who asked me to please give them photos of just their kid
for bat-mitzvah/bar-mitzvah albums. I obliged, but it was laborious.

With things such as DropBox or Google Drive - each one just gets to
easily page through all the pics and download whatever they want - no
involvement from me.
