Ken, I think you got the specimen whose owner had responded to my questions about its close focus distance (4 m, like the Tak, SMC, M, and A). It looked extremely well built and optically generous (77mm filter). As I recall it lacks a tripod ring. But for $100, it's hard to go wrong.
