Good to see you at the mountain, John. It was a really good weekend. I'm at my friend's place in Ashe county (about 50 miles from GFM) and got thoroughly soaked on the ride here. The phrase "biblical proportions" pretty well describes the downpour I rode through. I'm hoping for better weather for the next two days of travel back to Boston. Motorcycle travel is not for wimps!
One sad note to the weekend: Don Nelson, former Pentax rep and pretty much the founder of the PDML (at least he was the one who decided to turn it over to Doug Brewer) died on Saturday. He'd been in poor health for a few years and had a stroke a week ago. It would be difficult to overstate Don's influence on the PDML as a whole and several of its members, myself included, in particular.
