well I think Thunderbird may get enough complaints that they will
improve that particular situation... it wouldn't be a problem if I were
30 years younger -
norhting hard to do about it - the only problem is that it is
-different- than what I've been used to for at least 20 years. I don't
like what I've seen at gmail at all. I download and keep off line ALL
my legit emails, all I send and all I get - /except/ for the stuff in
the PDML folder, because it is archived on line amd isnt' just to me.
With the exception that my outbox is saved no matter who I wrote to.
The way Thunderbird lets you organize is virtually the same as the way
old netscape mail did and that was a critical thing for me.
My email is essential to my selling on line and the way I can search and
find things and crib stuff and remind myself of things is so easy to
handle in
Thunderbird.
so I'd rather fight than switch :-)

It used to be that way for those of us who use Thunderbird for email...
Thunderbird made some updates and changed that. It's awful but it would be
worse
to change email as thudnerbird is wonderful in lots of ways. I didn't
realise it at first, PJ mentioned it on list. I had noticed that I wasn't
seeing my posts
always appearing in my PDML folder -
So I'm writing on the virtual blackboard "reply list" - and remind
myself to look up at the "TO"before I hit send
that's the story, Dan

What are you guys talking about? I still just have "reply," and my

go to the list.

Probably just in time for the next update to fix the problem.

Damn - I see two pieces of mail I sent thinking they were going to
everyone and they only went to the perps of the Peso's or the
comments on
my stuff...
This is hard for the old gal to get straight... I wonder how many
others are struggling with it too..
hard to develop a good pun thread that way
sigh and good night
