Took my Nikon 70-200 vr f2.8 out for a spin today. The AF worked fine for a few minutes then for the rest of the day it would stop orking for a min then work again for a minute. What is the best method to clean the contacts. I'll try that first before i drive it to their service department to check out the AF motor.
