Re: Backstory, I probably should have added that the island became a
major Naval Station during WWII. My friend and I drove seaward side,
lots of crumbling barracks. But hard to navigate, closed streets, etc.
and I got no pictures of any of the former base.

museum (a museum that was closed for a long time, open again).
The best views of San Francisco are from Treasure Island. Pretty much
everything on the island is crumbling now, except for this building. Although,
supposedly, a massive housing development is planned. Which is insanely,
incredibly stupid.
