I like the pano better. The other is too cropped for me. OR I might crop
the pano again, but leave more of the background in. If possible. The
sense of height makes a big difference.

That still didn't quite work for me so I cropped it to the vertical
version and voila! And thanks to the K-1's resolution, the resulting
cropped version is still over 32 megapixels.
